PINK FLOYD
In 2014, “The Endless River”, the final Pink Floyd album, was released. That same year, a very special film was made as a companion to the album and the intention was for it to be part of a blu-ray packaging for the release.
Directed by Pink Floyd veteran Ian Emes, it is a moving, rich, and abstract art film which incorporates the imagery and messages at the core of the Floyd aesthetic whilst being a completely new journey into time, space, and the extraterrestrial origins of man.
My role was that of Creative Editor for over half of the film, cutting 8 tracks (sides 2 and 4) of the album with only a loose guide of where the film needed to go, and was mostly left to explore my own creativity.
“The Endless River” was finally released in 2019 as part of the “Later Years” box set.
